Dr. Ronald Lahasky graduated from Erath High School in 1980 and has been a lifelong resident of Erath. After graduating high school, he attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology in 1984 and in 1990 received his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. In 1993 Dr. Lahasky received his specialization in Internal Medicine also from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He then moved back to his hometown of Erath, LA where he opened a private practice in the same office that his father, Dr. Bernard Lahasky had once practiced Family Medicine. Now in Abbeville, Dr. Lahasky still has his private practice while also being the Medical Director at two local nursing homes; Maison du Monde and Eastridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. For years now, Dr. Lahasky has seen hundreds of patients with diseases that have been affected due to their obesity including heart disease and diabetes. Searching weight loss programs across the nation, to try and find a weight loss solution for these patients, he discovered |company|. He stands behind this program that he has brought to our community and the surrounding area. “It is the one that works!!!” Dr. Lahasky is a member of the Louisiana Medical Society, the Vermilion Parish Medical Society and the American Board of Bariatrics.
