Lara lost 132 pounds!

Hi, my name is Lara and I’m 49 years old. I lost half my body weight in 9 months on Medi-Weightloss®. I was 280 pounds and miserable. With my 50th birthday approaching, getting older and being overweight was very depressing. My cholesterol was very high, and the doctor recommended I start taking medication. In addition, diabetes runs in my family. I started gaining weight in my 20’s. I went up and down like a roller coaster for quite some time. It was a vicious cycle and my mobility was minimal. I could not even walk around the block without stopping several times. I would go out shopping with my husband and need to sit down to catch my breath. In 2017 I broke my ankle and had surgery. I really felt like the staff members were my cheerleaders and I didn’t want to let them down. The best part was I used regular food from the grocery store. No prepackaged frozen foods. Now 13 months after starting with Medi-Weightloss® I have maintained my weight loss and check in every month just to keep me honest. I no longer have sugar cravings. I actually crave healthy foods. I must admit I was sad not seeing my cheerleaders every week. They still call and text me to see how I’m doing. I feel wonderful. My cholesterol is normal, and my aches and pains are gone. I walk at least 5 miles a day without even breaking a sweat. This week I’m teaching my children how to waterski. I never thought that would be possible.
