Before beginning my journey with Medi-Weightloss® I was always winded. Walking up the stairs and moderate exercise proved difficult for me. Every morning I found myself experiencing aches and pains, feeling tired throughout the day. All of this lead me to a difficult doctor visit where I was advised that in addition to my high blood pressure medication, I would have to begin medication for high cholesterol levels. I needed to begin treatment or commit to losing weight. Clearly, it was time to make a change. I didn’t want to be on high blood pressure medication to begin with but struggled to lose weight on my own. That is when I turned to Medi-Weightloss® for help. They guided me with my Medi-Weightloss® Weight Management Journal and helped me personalize my program to meet my needs and see results. It’s hard to make changes on your own; Medi-Weightloss® helped me become accountable for my weekly results. Initially making the right choice was difficult, but the Medi-Weightloss® team showed me how to build healthy habits. Now making the right food choice is part of my life. This year I signed up for, competed, and completed a 15K run. I would never have been able to accomplish this prior to coming to Medi-Weightloss®. I also enjoy clothes shopping, having dreaded it in the past. I used to lie to myself, asking myself to believe the clothing was cut wrong, the sizing was inaccurate, when in reality I was heavier than I wanted to admit.
