Jennifer Brown
ANP-BC
Jennifer Brown is an Adult Nurse Practitioner , board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed by the state of Texas as an Advanced Practive Nurse. Adult nurse practitioners evaluate, diagnose, and manage common, acute, and chronic health problems among adolescents, adults, and the elderly, and also educate their patients on wellness strategies and disease prevention. Jennifer received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Texas Christian University and her Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of Texas at Arlington. She has also worked as a critical care nurse for 15 years which has developed in her a strong passion for preventing many of the common chronic health conditions which result in devastating outcomes. Jennifer is very proud of her accomplishments as a nurse, but is even more proud of her wonderful family including her husband and four young children. Jennifer has been helping people succeed in their weight loss journey at Medi Weightloss Clinics for 8 years and is ready to help you be a healthier and happier you!

Jessica Hess
ACNP, APRN, MSN
Jessica Hess began her nursing career by attending Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following undergraduate school, she worked as a registered nurse for five years in the Intensive Care Unit setting. In August 2007 she graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) graduate program. She was a member of the National Honor Society at TCU and UTA. Since that time, she has worked both in Nephrology and now for Medi Weight Loss since January 2012. Jessica has been married for 15 years, is an avid runner, enjoys homeschooling her children, and spending time at church.

Jennifer McGuire
PA-C
Jennifer McGuire, PA-C is a Physician Assistant who is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2006. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2003. Prior to working at MEDI, she worked in primary care (Internal Medicine for 3 years, Family Medicine for 2 years). She treated patients on a regular basis for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and other common conditions that are often associated with being overweight. She finds great joy in seeing patients with these conditions come to MEDI, lose weight, feel amazing, and be able to discontinue medications! She is passionate about health and fitness and loves teaching patients how to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. She loves spending time with her husband and three little boys. She loves the Lord, college football, working out, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Jamie Zacharias
RN, MSN, NP-C
Jamie has been in the health and fitness industry for 17 years and is a proud mother of 4 and devoted wife currently in the DFW area. She did her undergrad nursing at TCU and graduate work at Baylor. Since graduation since has been working with MEDI Weightloss Clinics Fort Worth as well as in chronic disease with Texas Health Resources. She has also been involved with personal training and group exercise since 2001 at numerous facilities in addition to co-founding MASHUP®. MASHUP® is the first Variable-intensity Interval Training program that combines Agility & Strength, HIIT, and MindBody exercises for all fitness levels offering live classes at gyms as well as OnDemand digital workouts at www.mashupconditioning.com and the SmashBod app coming December 2018.Jamie is passionate about helping others achieve and maintain optimal wellness through a more holistic approach versus just traditional medicine. She believes that nutrition is an integral component (80% nutrition/20% other lifestyle factors) of optimal health and in reaching your health and fitness goals because she has witnessed firsthand how significantly it can change people’s lives. She always looks forward to educating individuals about this and giving them the tools they need to be successful not just with weight loss, but in improving their overall health and reducing the need for medical interventions.
