Michelle Frangakis
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Michelle graduated from Branford Hall as a Medical Assistant in 2006. She has over 10 years of experience as a medical/office assistant in primary care, dermatology, urology and OB/GYN. As an Office Manager she brought her experience in General and Bariatric Surgery to Medi-Weightloss. Dedicated to getting to know each client individually and personally her goal is to make everyone feel welcomed, supported and like family when they come to Medi-Weightloss. Michelle enjoys cooking, baking, the beach, and creating memories with her family.
Wendy Murakami, APRN
Ms. Murakami was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and currently lives in Monson, MA with her family. She received her undergraduate degree at the Oregon Health Sciences School of Nursing in Portland, Oregon and her graduate degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Nursing in Amherst, MA. She comes to Medi-Weightloss with a depth of experience in a variety of nursing roles both as an RN and as an Advanced Practice RN. For the past several years, she has worked as an APRN in a wide range of health care settings. Her personal and professional background includes a variety of experiences across the life stages and has serviced diverse socio-cultural populations. As an ANCC certified Clinical Nurse Specialist, she has program development, nutrition/wellness expertise and is highly committed to health promotion and preventive care. Her personal wellness philosophy has been instrumental in the development of her practice and professional accomplishments of assisting clients to improve their health through patient education and improved self-care. She practices what she preaches and loves to cook, eat well, travel, garden, read, exercise regularly and live a healthy active lifestyle.
Elizabeth Palomba, PA-C
Hailing from Somers, Connecticut, Liz is a physician assistant with a personal commitment to health and wellness. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from Springfield College (Springfield, Massachusetts) in Allied Health/Pre-Physician Assistant studies in 2013, matriculated directly into the master's program, and obtained her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies in May of 2014. Liz is licensed by the states of Connecticut and Massachusetts, and is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She comes to Medi-Weightloss with 5 years of experience in intensive care at Saint Francis Hospital in the Neonatal ICU and Women's Health, which has helped shape her medical mindset. However, her focus has now shifted to preventative health and weight loss in adults and adolescents. She understands the importance of a balanced lifestyle that encompasses wellness of mind, body and soul that begins in the earliest stages of life. For those individuals with busy lives, young families, and especially new moms, Liz has a special place in her heart. Liz enjoys spending time with her children, husband and family, going to the beach, yoga, bike riding and two dogs.
